Graduate Diploma in Dispute Resolution

Program Overview

The Graduate Diploma in Dispute Resolution offers students the opportunity of advanced graduate study without undertaking a full Master of Dispute Resolution degree.

There is no difference between the Graduate Diploma and the Master of Dispute Resolution in terms of the content and depth with which particular courses are studied – the Graduate Diploma merely requires completion of fewer courses.

Candidates for entry must have been awarded a Bachelors degree.

Program structure

Students must complete a total of 36 units of credit (6 courses) in order to complete the requirements for the degree.

The program may be taken full time in 2 semesters (1 year) or part time in a minimum of 3 semesters.

Compulsory courses

Students must successfully complete the follow two core compulsory courses (total 12 uoc):

Students then choose 4 courses (total 24 uoc) from the following elective courses:

  • Alternative Dispute Resolution professionals who are seeking a specialist, postgraduate qualification in ADR
