Law Admission Test FAQ

The Law Admission Test or LAT is a written test that is used to demonstrate your aptitude and suitability for studying undergraduate Law at UNSW. Your LAT score, in addition to your academic results (e.g. ATAR + additional points) will be used in our selection process to allow us to better differentiate between the many high achieving applicants to Law. The LAT was introduced in 2016 for entry to UNSW Law dual degree programs from 2017 onwards.

Use the drop down links below to find out more about the LAT, including provision of results and admission details for 2018.

2017 LAT results are now available. Candidates will have received a notification email from ACER that includes information on how to retrieve their statement of results via their online account.

You can download your results in a PDF file by logging into your online candidate account, and clicking on ‘View Results’ on your homepage.  You are advised to print a copy of your results for your own records. No hard copy statements will be sent to you.
