Postgraduate Information Evening attracts a full house

UNSW Faculty of Law’s Postgraduate Information Evening on Monday 21 September at the Sydney Hilton attracted a full house.

The evening provided a valuable opportunity for anyone thinking about studying law or taxation to find out more about the programs and courses and speak with both academic and administrative staff from the Law School and the Australian School of Taxation (Atax).

The Dean, Professor David Dixon welcomed attendees and joined colleagues to answer questions about the new UNSW JD and other Postgraduate Program offerings in 2010.

There was great interest in the range of masters programs now available for both lawyers and non-lawyers including the Master of International Law and International Relations, Master of Human Rights Law and Policy and the Master of Tax and Financial Planning.

Attendees were keen to find out more about the new masters programs including the Master of Dispute Resolution, Master of Revenue Administration and the Graduate Diploma in Applied Intellectual Property.

Academics and administrative staff also answered questions about the Master of Laws (LLM)  which now offers students the opportunity to specialise in 10 areas, including three new specialisations in Dispute Resolution, Innovation Law and Media & Technology Law.

With many classes offered during the evening at UNSW’s CBD campus at 1 O’Connell Street Sydney, postgraduate study at UNSW couldn’t be more convenient.

Atax programs including the Master of Taxation and Master of International Taxation are offered in a range of flexible study modes including face to face classes in Sydney CBD, intensive classes at UNSW Kensington campus and by distance mode.
