The Faculty of Law at UNSW offers three research programs for students seeking to undertake sustained research at the postgraduate level:

	Doctor of Philosophy (PhD)
	Doctor of Juridical Science (SJD)
	Master of Law by Research (LLM)

These programs are designed for students who wish to develop and acquire sophisticated skills in research and analysis, honed through work on a topic of their choice that expands legal thinking and understanding. These programs are designed to equip candidates for careers in areas including advanced research, policy development, public service, tertiary teaching or professional leadership.

The Law Faculty offers candidates the opportunity to pursue their research interests in any of the areas of Faculty Research Interests.
