On 7 April 2009, Sir Kenneth Keith, Judge at the International Court of Justice in The Hague, visited the Law Faculty and delivered a lecture to students of international law and policy.

On 25 May 2009, the ILPG hosted an afternoon tea for Randall Powell, SC. Mr Powell was appointed Justice of Appeal of the Court of Appeal of the Republic of Fiji and delivered a lecture to students and Faculty staff on the Court’s recent decision in Qarase v Bainimamrama & Others
