Anna was appointed the Coordinator of Kingsford Legal Centre in January
2004. Anna is responsible for the co-ordination and planning of the
centre’s services to the community.
Anna has over 15 years experience as a Community Worker, working for a
range of non-government community organisations such as a community
housing association, family support service, community options, women’s
refuge and more recently at a community legal centre in the Hunter. Anna
also spent 18 months as a Community Program Officer with the NSW
Department of Community Services. Anna has also been the board member of
many community based organisations which have provided a range of services
including family day care, youth refuge, tenancy advice, Home Care,
neighbourhood centre and most recently a women’s health centre.
In 1991 Anna completed a Bachelor of Social Science (Welfare Studies) at
the University of Newcastle and in 1997 a Masters of Management
(Community) from the University of Technology, Sydney. She is currently
enrolled in the Bachelor of Social Work at Charles Sturt University.
