Kingsford Legal Centre provides advice to people in situations of domestic violence. In some cases it will also represent women at court who are trying to get an apprehended violence order against a family member or boyfriend / girlfriend. The Centre is also active in law reform and education around the issues of domestic violence.
Police
If you are at immediate risk you should contact the police for help. They can tell you about criminal charges and/or an apprehended violence order. You should call
