Overseas Electives

UNSW Law has partnered with several overseas institutions to offer UNSW Law students opportunities to participate in various elective courses. These elective courses take place during the Summer or Winter breaks between the two main semesters of study at UNSW, and each course is worth 6 units of credit towards the completion of a UNSW Law degree program.

Currently, there are opportunities for UNSW Law students to participate in overseas electives in India, Switzerland, and Vanuatu in Summer 2018/2019. Information about each course available is listed on this page, with links to material with further information and instructions on when the course takes place, how to apply, and when to apply.

The following Overseas Electives will run in Summer Term 2018/19:

LAWS3541JURD7841LAWS8241 Pacific Islands Legal Systems (6 UOC) - Port Vila, Vanuatu

This course will be held from 2 December - 12 December 2018

Students who participate in this program will be enrolled into the course in Summer Term 2018/2019

This new course will be held from 14 January - 25 January 2019. An Online Handbook entry will be available in the 2019 Handbook
