Student Editors

The Student Editors will play an active role in the production of one of the LAW publications and journals. A student editor will:

  • research
  • edit and proof articles, interviews, book reviews,
  • liaise and form relationships with organisations, academics and members of the legal profession

And a range of other tasks connected with the production of the journals as directed by the Editors.

Note: Not all Publications/Journals will offer internship placements each term. An updated list will be provided each term during the Experiential Learning application period.  Summer 2018/2019 applications have closed.

When do the journal internships run?

Internships with the Australian Journal of Human Rights and the Human Rights Defender are offered in Term 1, 2 and 3 2019.  Please note these placements are unpaid.

How do I apply?

Read the Application Process and complete the Application Form. Please only apply within the application period. The dates of which will be sent to your student email. 

Term 1 2019 applications have closed. Application outcomes have been released.

Term 2 2019 Round 1 applications open at 10am on Wednesday, 2 January 2019 and close at 9am on Tuesday, 15 January 2019.
