Student Editors

The Student Editors will play an active role in the production of one of the LAW publications and journals. A student editor will:

  • research
  • edit and proof articles, interviews, book reviews,
  • liaise and form relationships with organisations, academics and members of the legal profession

And a range of other tasks connected with the production of the journals as directed by the Editors.

*Students will apply for either the Australian Indigenous Law Review (AILR) or the Indigenous Law Bulletin (ILB) under the one subject code LAWS3212/JURD7312. For more information on the internships please read the Study page of the ILC website.

Note: Not all Publications/Journals will offer internship placements each semester. An updated list will be provided each semester during the Experiential Learning application period.  For Round 2 Summer 2017/18 and Semester 1 2018 the updated list can be found here.


When do the journal internships run?

The courses run each semester (some journals may also run over summer and winter break), with applications opening mid-semester the session before the course commences.  Please note these placements are unpaid.

How do I apply?

Read the Application Process and complete the Application Form. Please only apply within the application period. The dates of which will be sent to your student email.
