Hitting the books

Preparing for a class or exam at UNSW Law is not as simple as reading cases and memorising details. Back in the good ‘ol days of high school (which you will come to appreciate) you might have got by with a late night cramming session only to walk away with a HD.

Studying law is a skill which develops with experience. It teaches you to dissect, analyse and challenge information instead of just absorbing it, enabling you to be an effective lawyer when you graduate.

Though law may take time to get used to, you can get off to the right start by following some of these tips and tricks when you’re hitting the books.
