UNSW Faculty of Law Essay Competition 2009 - CLOSED

UNSW Faculty of Law is proud to present their annual Essay Competition for high school students.

The essay topic for 2009 is:

Human rights are adequately recognised and protected in Australia. Discuss.

Open to Year 11 and 12 students in New South Wales and the ACT, the essay competition is designed to encourage students to consider how the law impacts on our daily lives, and how students can readily be involved in determining future laws.

The winner will receive $500 cash. Second place will receive $300 and third place will receive $200.  All entrants will receive a certificate acknowledging their participation.
