This course is different from other KLC courses in that students learn how to design and deliver community legal education on Family Law issues.  Students have some contact with individual clients through reception duties and some interviewing.  Students do NOT work on individual case files.

Students will receive a letter of offer by email from KLC shortly after applications close.  You must accept this offer immediately or your place may be offered to another student. KLC completes its allocations of days of attendance at the Centre within 2 weeks of your acceptance of a place in the course. While every effort is made to allocate students to their first preference of days, KLC is strictly limited to 10 students attending the Centre each day.

Students must attend all day. Requests to be absent for work commitments will not be considered.

Students who have completed any of the KLC courses in previous sessions are eligible to apply for other KLC courses again, however preference will be given to those students who have not previously done a KLC course. If you were offered a place before and subsequently withdrew from the course, you must re-apply.
