Honours Nomination Form Semester 2 2017 & Summer 2017/18

Honours applications for students completing in Semester 2 2017 and Summer 2017/18 are now open. The deadline to apply and provide evidence of the research requirement for both Semester 2 2017 and Summer 2017/18 is Friday 17 November 2017. Late applications WILL NOT be accepted.

Documentation which demonstrates the research requirement from previous semesters must be submitted in hard copy* to Law Student Services, also by Friday 17 November 2017 for both Semester 2 2017 and Summer 2017/18.

Please note that research essays from Semester 2 2017 and Summer 2017/18 will be obtained for you, so you do not need to submit these assessments as part of your application.

  1. I hope to complete all the requirements of the Dual Law/Graduate Law (LLB) in Semester 2 2017 or Summer 2017/18 and to graduate with Honours.
  2. I understand that in addition to achieving the required Honours WAM, I must demonstrate that I have met/will meet the Honours research requirements on the form below. The research requirements are completion of research-based assessment tasks with a cumulative total of 9000 words or more, where each task is at least 3000 words at credit level (65%) or above, or the 6UOC research thesis at 65% or above.
  3. I understand that Student Services will not return my original essays, therefore I am responsible for making photocopies of all my original submitted papers.
  4. I understand that if eligible for an Honours award, I will not be able to withdraw my nomination.
Assignments Marked Online 
Information on how to access marks via Moodle or Turnitin is available at https://student.unsw.edu.au/access-your-moodle-and-turnitin-marks. Students should download a copy of your marked papers if marked online once the comments/marks are released and submit with your honours essays. If you having issues accessing or downloading a paper please contact the E-Learning Officer, Danny Tan at danny.tan@unsw.edu.au.
Exchange Students- Important!
If you are going on exchange for all of the application period, 11 August- 17 November 2017, you must organise delivery of research essays by a third party (friend or family member) to Law Student Services. The mailing address is:
