Honours Nomination Form - Term 1 2019 Students Commencing 2014* or Before

*Eligible students who commenced in 2014 or before may instead apply for New Honours, next offered in T3 2019 (applications currently closed).

Honours applications for students completing in Term 1 2019  are now open. The deadline to apply and provide evidence of the research requirement is Friday 17 May at 5pm - late applications WILL NOT be accepted.

Please note that research essays from Term 1 2019 will be obtained for you, so you do not need to submit these assessments as part of your application. Before applying, please read the Law Honours Information Sheet.

  1. I hope to complete all the requirements of the Dual Law/Graduate Law (LLB) in Term 1 2019 and to graduate with Honours and it is my responsibility to check that I will be completing all requirements. 
  2. I understand that in addition to achieving the required Honours WAM, I must demonstrate that I have met/will meet the Honours research requirements on the form below. The research requirements are completion of research-based assessment tasks with a cumulative total of 9000 words or more, where each task is at least 3000 words at credit level (65%) or above, or the 6UOC research thesis at 65% or above.
  3. I understand that Student Services will not return my original essays, therefore I am responsible for making photocopies of all my original submitted papers.
  4. I understand that if eligible for an Honours award, I will not be able to withdraw my nomination. 
Assignments Marked Online 
Information on how to access marks via Moodle or Turnitin is available hereStudents should download a copy of your marked papers if marked online once the comments/marks are released and submit with your honours essays. If you are having any problem accessing or downloading a paper please contact the E-Learning Officer, Michael Chan 
Exchange Students- Important!
If you are going on exchange for all of the application period, 22 February- 17 May 2019 , you must organise delivery of research essays by a third party (friend or family member) to Law Student Services. The mailing address is:
