How do I apply?
Postgraduate coursework programs
Admission to UNSW is based on academic merit. Please read the entry requirements to the program you are applying for on the Postgraduate Law Programs page.
Candidates for all postgraduate programs are required to provide copies of their academic transcripts unless they are graduates of UNSW. We also encourage applicants to provide a copy of their curriculum vitae if they have relevant employment experience.
Additional information for MBA/LLM
Candidates for the joint Master of Business Administration / Master of Laws (MBA/LLM) must provide:
- A copy of their curriculum vitae
- Four Personal Statement Essays [PDF]
- Two Referee Reports [PDF]
The AGSM MBA requires candidates to have also completed the Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT) .The GMAT score is required as part of the application criteria. For information about GMAT please refer to www.mba.com.

Applicants should apply online ($50 application processing fee).

International applicants
International Students must apply via the UNSW International Student Website
In order to allow ample time to process your application for admission and subsequently the student visa, it is desirable that you make your application for admission at least four months prior to the commencement of the session in which you wish to enrol.
International students must meet the University's English Language Requirements.
Offers and acceptance of places
It can take up to 4 weeks to consider and assess your application. The UNSW Admissions Office will send an offer letter (pdf file) via email to successful applicants. Please note this may be subject to certain conditions. This offer should be accepted as soon as possible.
All successful applicants will also receive a welcome email from UNSW Law.
