Current students

Semester 1 Applications

All students wishing to commence in Semester 1 must have their course completion confirmed by their university in December the year prior (check with Student Services for the exact date each year). If you expect to finish your studies in Summer Semester, you won't be eligible to apply for Semester 1 and should apply for mid-year entry instead.

Semester 2 Applications

If you are due to complete your studies at another university in Semester 1, we regret that you won't be eligible to apply for mid-year entry into the UNSW JD program. This is due to the early commencement of JD classes in Semester 2 and late availability of final Semester 1 results. Please apply for Semester 1 admission in the following year.

If you are a current UNSW student expecting to complete your studies at the end of Semester 1 you may apply for mid-year entry into the UNSW JD program, but offers are strictly dependent on the availability of places.

International applicants

Apply: www.apply.unsw.edu.au

Applicants who do not hold Australian or New Zealand citizenship or Australian permanent residency are International applicants and should apply directly to UNSW at www.apply.unsw.edu.au. International applicants can apply at any time.
