To commence in Semester 1 2010, applications are due by the end of October 2009. (Please note, domestic applicants can apply from September 2009).

To commence in Semester 2 2010, applications are due by the end of May 2010.

Domestic applicants

A limited number of early offers to the UNSW JD will be made on 13 November 2009. Early offers must be accepted by 18 December 2009.

The main round of offers to the UNSW JD will be made on 8 January 2010 and must be accepted by 12 February 2010.

JD classes commence on Wednesday 24 February 2010.

For Australian citizens, permanent residents and New Zealand citizens, applications for the UNSW JD are online through the Universities Admissions Centre (UAC). Go to www.uac.edu.au and click on “UAC Postgraduate”.

Domestic applicants who feel their tertiary educational performance has been affected by circumstances beyond their control may complete a Special Consideration for Applicants with Tertiary Study (SCATS) application. Applications for consideration under SCATS are made directly to the UNSW Admissions Office and are in addition to the application for admission to the JD via UAC Postgraduate. SCATS applications close at the end of November for admission in Semester 1 and mid June for admission in Semester 2.  For details see www.unsw.edu.au/scats
