UNSW students placed 2nd in the ICC International Mediation Competition in Paris

The Faculty of Law congratulates our International Mediation student team who were placed 2nd in the world at the 5th International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) International Mediation Competition in Paris this week.

UNSW Law was one of 44 teams from universities across the globe invited by the International Chamber of Commerce to participate in the competition.

Our team of students - James Hu, Roy Yu, Mark Sheldon and Joey Nicholls - performed magnificently in the final against the winning team from Nottingham University.

Coach Rosemary Howell who accompanied the team to France was very proud of the team's performance.

"It is a wonderful reward for our months of hard work and rewarding to see UNSW performing so strongly in front of some the most experienced mediators in the world in competition with universities who have led the field in ADR for a long time,' Rosemary said.

The Faculty congratulates the students and coach on their outstanding result.
