Current law students are invited to represent their law school as a Student Ambassador at a variety of recruitment events throughout the year. This can include on-campus events like Open Day and UNSW Law Parent & Student Information Evening, or off-campus events like school talks and careers markets. Student Ambassadors talk to high school students and their parents, answer questions about programs and courses, give building tours and generally assist in the running of faculty events and student recruitment activities.
Who are we looking for?
Law students that are:
- In second year or above with excellent communication skills
- Confident, enthusiastic and happy talking to all kinds of people
- Active in life at Law School
- Team players willing to help with the less glamorous side of events
- Proud to be part of UNSW Law
When do we need you?
Student Ambassadors MUST be available to attend the following major events, and may also be rostered on for additional shifts at careers markets, school visits and other activities.
- 10 May, 5-8pm - UNSW Law Parent & Student Information Evening
- 1 September, 8.30am-4.30pm - UNSW Open Day
- 12 April, 22 June, 6 September, 14 December, 9-12.30pm - A Day @ UNSW (exact dates TBC)
How much does it pay?
$26.62 per hour Student Ambassadors will also receive recognition on their AHEGS.
How do I apply?
Applicants will need to submit a CV including any extra-curricular activities they’ve participated in at UNSW. Short-listed applicants will then be interviewed. Successful ambassadors are also required to complete compulsory training in late March.

Please note: Student Ambassadors working for SRO this year are not eligible to apply.
