Presbyterian Church sign on same-sex marriage divides regional community of Taree

Professor Luke McNamara speaks to ABC News (8 September 2016) regarding a Presbyterian Church posting signs considered offensive by some people.

"Even if these signs were regarded as falling within the definition of homosexual vilification, which is unlikely, the law does not create a criminal offence," Professor McNamara said. "It simply allows a person from the relevant group to lodge a complaint with the NSW Anti-Discrimination Board."
