Dr Ueli Sommer, who established the Swiss chapter in 2004, graduated at UNSW in 2001 with an LLM specialising in corporate and commercial law.
Until mid 2002, Ueli worked as foreign associate with Allens Arthur Robinson in Sydney before returning to his former firm Walder Wyss & Partners (WW&P), one of the biggest law firms in Switzerland, where he will become partner in 2008. Ueli works in the corporate and commercial department of WW&P, focusing on restructuring, M&A and contract law. He publishes regularly in legal journals. Since 2002, he has had the opportunity to advise several Australian clients on large cross-boarder transactions.
