Sabine Pittrof is a partner in the Corporate and Financial Services Department of Heymann & Partners in Frankfurt, Germany. She specializes in national and international mergers & acquisitions and private equity and capital markets transactions and in the area of cross-border leasing. In addition, Sabine advises on public law and property law matters, with particular emphasis on transaction-related environmental law issues.
Prior to joining Heymann & Partners as a founding partner in 2005, Sabine was Special European Counsel at Willkie Farr & Gallagher (2004-2005) and National Partner (2003-2004) and associate (2000-2003) at Haarmann Hemmelrath.
After finishing her studies at UNSW, Sabine undertook a PhD in comparative constitutional law at the University of Heidelberg, Germany, and proceeded with her articles which also saw her working in Brussels, Belgium, and Tokyo, Japan.
Sabine established the German- Australian Alumni Association, DeAN-Deutsch-Australisches Netzwerk e.V., and was President for six years until September 2003.
