Program overview

This dual degree combines one of four specialist media areas with your law studies to provide you with an innovative degree program. You will develop skills in language, media, analysis and negotiation to make you highly sought after by employers.

You’ll study a comprehensive law degree that will equip you with a global perspective on legal issues and give you the opportunity to take electives in media law courses. Whether you choose communications and journalism, public relations and advertising, screen and sound, or media production, you’ll study both the theory and contemporary creative practice of these specialist areas.

Students commencing study in 2014 can specialise in one of four Media offerings:

  • Communication & Journalism
  • Media Production
  • Screen & Sound
  • Public Relations & Advertising

Media/Law is jointly offered by UNSW Law and the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences.

International Students: please note that there is no mid-year intake for this program.
