Suresh Nanwani is Visiting Professorial Fellow at UNSW teaching international financial institutions (IFIs). He also teaches IFIs and law and governance at National University of Singapore and Birkbeck University of London. He is an Advisor at the Asian Development Bank (ADB). He has more than 26 years experience in project, law and development, and institutional issues working in and with IFIs including the World Bank and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. He was former deputy head of ADB's Law and Policy Reform Special Practice Group in the legal department working with governments and supervising lawyers on law and policy reform activities in ADB member countries in Asia and the Pacific. He designed and implemented law and policy reform projects including access to justice, judicial training, women empowerment, and anticorruption.
