FIXED TERM: Salary: $66,131 per year paid pro rata (plus up to 17% employer superannuation plus leave loading.)

The successful applicant will be a member of a team working on a project funded by an Australian Research Council Discovery Grant titled “Terrorism and Public Law After September 11”, under the supervision of Professor George Williams and Dr Andrew Lynch. The Research Associate will have responsibility for assisting the Chief Investigators and occasionally other Centre staff on research which forms part of the project as well as conducting research independently on certain aspects of the project themselves. The Research Associate will be located within the Gilbert + Tobin Centre of Public Law, within the Faculty of Law at the University of NSW.

This is a part-time (0.6 FTE) fixed term position, 3 days per week available for 2 years from time of appointment. It may be, however, possible to negotiate full-time employment for a limited period of the contract, should that be sought.
