Research Student Scholarships

Sir Anthony Mason PhD Award in Public Law
Postgraduate award of $2,500 for one semester for a UNSW Law Phd student whose candidature has been confirmed, and who is undertaking research in the area of public law.

Deadline for applications for S1 and S2 2018: Friday, 6 April 2018.
Decisions on the Award for both S1 and S2 2018 will be made at the same time based on the applications received by this date.

PhD Excellence Award

UNSW Law is pleased to announce a PhD Excellence Award. The new Award will acknowledge UNSW Law’s top PhD candidates. It will be made to all PhD students who receive two “A’s” from examiners.

The Award date will be made in January/February of the year following completion of the PhD. Successful candidates will receive a letter signed by both the Dean of the Faculty of Law and by the Associate Dean (Research). They will also be invited to attend the Faculty’s Annual Awards Evening usually held in May.
