2018 Scientia Fellowships

The Scientia Fellowship Program, established as a cornerstone of the UNSW 2025 Strategy, aims to attract and retain the highest research performers on a trajectory to being exceptional research leaders and mentors.

The key Faculty priorities for UNSW Law are:

Indigenous (Australian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander) research in legal studies

Research in any area of law and legal studies (Australian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander)

Interdisciplinary research on law and legal institutions

  • Law and society research or socio-legal studies (law and anthropology, etc.)
  • Law and humanities research (legal history, law and literature, law and political philosophy, law and creative arts, etc.)
  • Law and economics research
  • Interdisciplinary research in law and technology (research combining science and technology studies and law, etc.)
  • Interdisciplinary research in health and biomedical sciences (law and neuroscience, etc.)
  • Interdisciplinary research in law and environmental science (interdisciplinary approaches to climate law, water law, legal geographies, etc.)
