Overview

Paul Ali was previously a senior lecturer in the Faculty of Law, University of Melbourne and a member of the Centre for Corporate Law and Securities Regulation, University of Melbourne (2002-2004). Prior to that, he was a postdoctoral research fellow in the T C Beirne School of Law, University of Queensland (2000-2001) and a finance lawyer in Sydney.

Current Research Projects

I am currently co-editing a research book on the international law of securitisation, scheduled for publication later this year. I will contribute a chapter (‘Securitising the Weather: Temperature Swaps and Windstorm Bonds’) to this book.The following is a representative list of other work-in-progress:
