Overview
Dr (Robin) Hui HUANG joined the Faculty of Law at UNSW in January 2006. Robin holds two bachelor degrees—in mechanical engineering and in law—and a Masters degree in law, from the prestigious Tsinghua University in Beijing. He further obtained his doctorate at UNSW in 2005, looking at insider trading issues in the securities market.
Robin has written extensively in the areas of corporate law, securities regulation and Chinese law. His publications so far include two books, one book chapter, and a large number of journal articles published in leading Australian, American and Chinese law journals. He has also translated a number of English legal classics into Chinese.
Robin’s research has had a significant impact on the discipline and the profession. His research has informed legal reforms in China. Robin has provided a string of seminars and workshops to various universities as well as government agencies, professional bodies and practicing lawyers both in Australia and overseas. Drawing upon his research expertise, Robin has designed and delivered a number of different courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
