I graduated from the University of Sydney Law School in 1992, having completed my final year at Queen Mary and Westfield College, University of London. I was a Legal Officer at the New South Wales Law Reform Commission before joining UNSW Law Faculty in 1994. I taught Property and Equity and Public International Law, becoming a tenured member of Faculty in 1996. In 2000 I resigned to care for my family full-time and during this period I was a regular contributor to state newspapers on work and family. I had a regular column with The Sunday Age.
I am the co-author of the Conveyancing Service New South Wales (Butterworths) with Professor Chris Rossiter and the Honourable Justice Peter Young. I regularly present Continuing Legal Education seminars to the profession.
