Provisional Summer 2014/2015 Timetable

The Provisional Summer Timetable for 2014/2015 have now been published on the Law Timetable Planner.

Summer session will run from 1 December 2014 to 6 February 2015. Please refer to the Academic Calendar for further information.

Summer enrolments will commence on 2 October 2014. Please refer to the UNSW Key Dates website for further information.

Summer 2014/15 and Semester 1 2015 Kingsford Legal Centre (KLC) Clinics application now open!

Kingsford Legal Centre (KLC) is an award winning community legal centre which is part of UNSW Law and housed within the Law Building. The Centre provides a clinical teaching environment for law students who work with centre lawyers to provide free legal assistance to the local community.

UNSW Law students can complete a Clinical Legal Experience course with KLC, and have it credited towards your degree program!

Applications for Joy van Ardenne Award extended! Receive $1,000 towards an overseas internship

Practising law in the real world involves more than textbooks and case notes.  Experience lawyering in practice while immersing yourself in the food, people and culture of a completely new country. The Joy van Ardenne Award provides $1,000 towards an overseas internship and is open to LLB students in 3rd year and above, and JD students in 2nd year and above.

Postgraduate Courses Open to Undergraduate - Summer 2014/15 & S1 2015

Applications are now open for undergraduates wishing to do postgraduate electives in summer 2014/15 and semester 1 2015 (open to students in the elective stage of their degree and have met the academic requirements). Some courses in semester 2 2014 are also still available. ***Please read the conditions carefully before applying***.

Census Date and Return of Semester 1 2014 assessment

Semester 2 2014 Census Date

This is a reminder that the Census Date is on Sunday 31 August 2014. This is the last date to withdraw from a T2 or T2A course without financial or academic penalty.

Students should ideally contact Student Services before Friday 29 August with any queries regarding withdrawing from courses. Please note that if you are only enrolled in 1 course, myUNSW will not permit you to withdraw online and you will need to apply for leave.
