NEW Postgraduate Courses in Semester 1 2014

Each year UNSW Law introduces new  and innovative courses to ensure the courses we offer are relevant and up to date for our Law students. 

The following new courses will be introduced in Semester 1 2014 in diverse areas such as Doping in Sport to a new Internship Program specifically for postgraduate students.

New Scholarship for Indigenous Students - 3rd or 4th year LLB students only

New Indigenous Law Student Scholarship - $5,000 available for 2014

Applications are now open for the new Piper Alderman Indigenous Law Student Scholarship, a  one year scholarship valued at $5,000.

Calling for Interns - PWESCR's Women Human Rights Internship Programme

PWESCR Internship Programme

PWESCR ongoing volunteer internship programme typically consists of a minimum of four consecutive calendar months of work in the Delhi (India) office. The programme is mutually advantageous. Interns gain valuable exposure to a wide range of women's human rights issues and knowledge of South Asian region.

PWESCR is currently looking to hire interns for minimum 4 months and preference is given to people interested to work for 6 months. They have different batches for this year as January, May and September.

Constitutional Court of South Africa invites applications for foreign law clerks


The Justices of the Constitutional Court of South Africa are pleased to invite applications from outstanding recent law graduates and young lawyers interested in serving as foreign law clerks. Candidates may be appointed to start as soon as 1 July 2014.

Opportunity for Placement at Arts Law Centre of Australia

Arts Law is currently seeking a graduate law student (or 4 year minimum undergrad.) for an unpaid internship lasting between 2-4 months. Internship at NSW NSW Health Care Complaints Commission - Indigenous Students ONLY

The NSW Health Care Complaints Commission is looking for an Indigenous Law Student to undertake an internship with them during Semester 1 2014.
  • This is a 6-week internship for law students with an Indigenous background
  • With flexibility in timeframe and working hours
  • Independent statutory complaint-handling body
  • Supported by a mentor
