Associate Legal Officer positions at the International Court of Justice, the Hague

 The International Court of Justice wishes to appoint multiple Law Clerks (Associate Legal Officers) who will provide research and other legal assistance to Judges of the Court.

Applications close at midnight Central European Time (CET) on 15 November 2013. Please note that applications received after the deadline date will not be accepted.

 UNSW Law is offering a wide range of outstanding Experiential Learning courses for students to participate in Social Justice Internships, Clinical placements opportunities and gain valuable experience as Student Editors of law publications and journals. 

All of which can be completed for Units of Credit (uoc) which in turn can be counted towards the completion of your degree program!

LAW3308/JURD7308 UNSW Law Internship

Available to students enrolled in the below programs:

Internship Opportunity at Laos Law & Consultancy Group (LLC) in Vientiane, Laos P.D.R!

A unique internship opportunity has arisen for UNSW Law students in the Dual Law and Juris Doctor program to work at the Laos Law & Consultancy Group (LLC) in Vientiane, Laos P.D.R in the upcoming Summer Semester! 

This will be a three months internship placement during the Summer break. This internship experience is eligible for inclusion in the LAWS3308/JURD7308 UNSW Law Internship (6uoc) course for Summer Semester 2013/14.

Australian Human Rights Centre's Migrant and Refugee Rights Project

We are now accepting applications for 2 summer internship positions for the Australian Human Rights Centre's Migrant and Refugee Rights Project, in which students will get course credit through the Social Justice Internship Program (LAWS3307/JURD7307) and work on some of the UNSW Human Rights Clinic's projects. These include ground-breaking advocacy and international litigation projects to advance the rights of asylum seekers and migrant workers in Australia and Asia.

2014 Indigenous Charlie Perkins Scholarships

The Charlie Perkins Scholarships are now accepting applications for 2014.    

Each year the Charlie Perkins Scholarship Trust offers two Scholarships for Indigenous postgraduates to study for up to three years at either Cambridge or Oxford universities.

To be considered for the Scholarship, applicants must have applied for a course at Cambridge and/or Oxford.  Applicants must also submit:

The upgrade to the Student System at UNSW has meant that Enrolment for Summer and S1 2014 has been delayed slightly.
