Summer Term Release of Results - Thursday 26 February

Summer results will be released by email and on myUNSW. Results emails will be sent out on the evening of Thursday 26 February. All students will receive a result email in their student email account by 7pm Thursday 26 February. Results will also be available on myUNSW from 7pm.

Christmas Student Services Office Hours

The Law Student Services Office will be closed from close of business on Friday,19 December until 2 January 2015. The Law student services office will re-open on Monday 5 January 2015

The Student Services team wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year.

End of Semester 2 2014 information

Dear students,

We hope you all did well on your Semester 2 2014 exams. Below you will find some important end of semester information.

Semester 2 2014 Official Release of Results

The S2 2014 Official Release of Results is on Friday 5 December 2014.

Where to get results?

Your results will be available via your student email account at 9am on 5 December.

Honours Applications Closing Soon!

The honours closing date for students graduating in semester 2 2014 and summer 2015 is less than 2 weeks away - Friday 21 November.  Please don't miss out your chance to be considered for honours and be recognised for your hard work in your Law degree.

Good Luck with your Exams

The Exam Period will run from Friday 7 November to Saturday 22 November.

The Exams Unit have scheduled many exams in the Law Building (particularly on Levels 2 and 3).

There are signs outside the relevant rooms which will be used for Exams. Students are not permitted to use class rooms for studying when there are exams scheduled in those rooms. Please do not move the furniture around in these rooms as they have been set up specifically for Exams. Your co-operation with staff from the Exams Unit and the Exam invigilators is very much appreciated.

National Liaison Officer, Anti-Poverty Week

Request for expressions of interest in the position of  National Liaison Officer, Anti-Poverty Week (based in the Centres Precinct, UNSW Law Building)

The position of National Liaison Officer is available for an agreed period of at least 12 months, commencing no later than 14 January 2015. It will involve an agreed amount of work averaging about 15 hours per week. There is considerable flexibility for negotiation of the times of work to suit study or family commitments.

Enrolment for for Summer 2014/2015 will commence on Thursday 2 October 2014, 9am via myUNSW

Enrolment in courses is allocated on a first come first served basis. Students are recommended to enrol in courses as soon as Enrolment OPENS!

Honours Applications Now Open

Honours applications are now open for students completing in semester 2 2014 and Summer 2014/15. The award of Honours in the LLB and JD program is based on the following requirements:

1) Completion of both degrees of the Dual Law Program or the Graduate Law Program (LLB) or the Juris Doctor (JD) Program;

2) Attainment of the Honours Weighted Average Mark (WAM) in Law (top 30% in your graduating cohort);

3) Sufficient performance of research-based assessment tasks including submission of relevant essays; and
