Bachelor of Media/Bachelor of Laws
"It’s tough, but definitely worth your while."
Year commenced:

Without doubt, the best thing about 2010 was the privilege of going to China for a Model United Nations Summit as part the UNSW delegation. We represented Cuba, and made peace with the USA!

My favourite subject was Federal Constitutional Law - a fascinating and inspiring mixture of politics, modern history and legal theory.

Outside of classes, I participated in the Advanced Negotiation Competition organised by the UNSW Law Society, and supported by the Faculty. The university also attracted fantastic speakers, such as a former Prime Minister’s Press Secretary, and Kerry O’Brien from the ABC, who spoke to us on the impact of media on law and politics.

For me, the biggest challenge of the year was maintaining my mental well-being and focus during the gruelling clerkship process, while studying and working part-time.. It's as if you have an extra subject. It’s tough, but definitely worth your while.
