Speak

We are always keen to talk with alumni who have an interesting story to share at our events – these include student orientations, welcome sessions and panel events. If you are keen to speak about your time at UNSW and your career journey, please get in touch with your Law Alumni Team.

Mentor

Inspire current students by sharing your career experience and offering some first-hand insights.

  • The student Law Society calls on interested UNSW Law Alumni to volunteer their time as mentors throughout the year. The commitment required by each mentor varies and is determined by the mentors and mentees.
  • UNSW has recently launched the new Career Accelerator program, which equips all UNSW alumni and Business School students with skills, experience and industry connections to accelerate their careers.

Volunteer as a solicitor

The Kingsford Legal Centre (KLC) seeks volunteer solicitors to assist in evening advice sessions held every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

As the KLC is a community legal centre providing free advice and referral to assist residents in the local area, volunteering your time can be tremendously rewarding.

Organise a reunion

No matter if your student days ended in 1967, 1987 or 2017– there will always be a place for you and your classmates within our global UNSW alumni community. The Alumni Reunion Guide provides information on how to best organise a get together of your graduating class, and celebrate your time together while at university.

Become an International Alumni Ambassador

Not only do our students come from the far reaches of the globe, our alumni have spread out to all corners as well. Volunteering as an ambassador in your city or country is an amazing way to stay connected with alumni living in your area.
