Six staff from UNSW Law’s Herbert Smith Freehills China International Business and Economic Law (CIBEL) Centre visited five universities in Hong Kong and Singapore as part of its roadshow in May.

The aim of the roadshow was to strengthen research collaboration with academic staff in the universities.

The delegation was led by CIBEL Centre co-directors Professor Deborah Healey and Associate Professor Heng Wang, and included Associate Professor Emma Armson, Associate Professor Xiao-chuan Weng, Dr Weihuan Zhou and Dr Lu Wang.

They visited the University of Hong Kong, the Chinese University of Hong Kong, City University of Hong Kong, the National University of Singapore and Singapore Management University.

They also attended several networking events with the Hong Kong and Singapore offices of its key partner Herbert Smith Freehills.

This included two seminars: A Change of Direction on the Belt and Road?  Sustainability, Standards and Solving Disputes in the Hong Kong office; and Antitrust Enforcement in the Asia Pacific Region in Singapore.
