Student Excellence
UNSW provides a variety of scholarships, prizes and awards to support students on their pathway to success at university.
We offer scholarships for domestic and international students, including high school leavers, future students and current UNSW students. There are Faculty and University-wide scholarships and awards available across our undergraduate (LLB), Juris Doctor (JD) and Master’s (LLM) and Practical Legal Education (PLT) programs.
Value, duration and conditions of scholarships and awards may be subject to change without notice and closing dates may vary from year to year. Please check the Scholarships website for the most up-to-date information.
All scholarship applications are online via My Application at UNSW Scholarships.
Prizes & Awards
UNSW Law offers several prizes to acknowledge academic achievement during your studies at UNSW. Browse the UNSW Prizes to determine which Law prizes you may be eligible for.
We celebrate academic achievement at the annual UNSW Law Awards Ceremony where students receive public recognition for the prizes, awards, and scholarships they have received.
UNSW Law Donors
We also take this opportunity to thank our Donors and Corporate Sponsors, whose generosity offers encouragement and creates opportunities for our students. I’ve always wanted to change the world in some way. I am drawn to experiences enabling me to assist people wherever possible, receiving great thrill from involvements that allow an influence on the way people view the world. Standing up for what is right, justice, equality, rights, the oppressed.
Studying at UNSW Law has made me believe that I can achieve anything I put my mind to. The Lillian Cohen Scholarship has allowed me to strive for personal excellence. Not only does it benefit tremendously financially, it has motivated me to utilise my academic and practical skills to achieve the greatest outcome in any given situation. Through this assistance, I am better equipped to reach out and help others.
”UNSW Law students are supported by generous donors who support scholarly achievements through academic prizes. We recognise and thank the organisations who support our students on their pathway to success at university.
